Pamela Brown
Director of Conservation
Pam Brown has over 35 years of experience in community trail planning and land protection. In her role as Director of Conservation, Pam engages with landowners who have an interest in conserving their properties and overseeing the project from start to completion. She oversees the Monitoring program and assists in the enforcement of the organization’s mission. Pam is also a representative of the organization to stakeholders, supporters, Board and Committees, municipalities, local, state and county elected officials, and serves on panels, work groups and advisory committees as requested.
Through grants and municipal open space funds, Pam secures capital and operating funds to support land preservation. She contributes to Land Matters magazine, eblasts, social media, newsletters and promotes French & Pickering at special events.
Pam works collaboratively with the Board, Executive Committee and Land Preservation Committee to provide information and secure approvals for all land protection projects
