Ashley Kane
Development Associate
Growing up near Chester County, Ashley was never far from woods, streams, and open space. She spent much of her childhood exploring the outdoors, developing an early appreciation for natural places and a lasting belief that they are worth noticing and caring for.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Ashley discovered her passion for nonprofit work while completing her degree. She gained experience in development support through interning, and her love of wildlife later led her to volunteer with a land trust. There, she saw how donor support and development work help make land and habitat protection possible.
Ashley joined French & Pickering in 2026 as a Development Associate. She supports the organization’s fundraising work and is excited to help protect the land and natural beauty of northern Chester County so that wildlife and future generations can thrive.
