French & Pickering is accepting applications for a full-time Communications Coordinator to be responsible for managing French & Pickering’s communications, including member services, marketing, and fundraising initiatives. The Coordinator will work with the Executive Director, key Committees, Board of Directors and staff to develop outreach materials and provide communications support. The Communications Coordinator will also create press releases, generate coverage, manage the organization’s social media accounts and e-newsletter, and maintain consistency in the organization’s messaging to diverse audiences.
The Communications Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Board of Directors and other staff as needed to efficiently and effectively promote the organization and executive the duties of the position.
Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field, be fluent with Microsoft Office, WordPress, Constant Contact, graphic design skills (especially InDesign and Photoshop) and database management. Working knowledge of Donor Perfect is preferred.
