
Devault, Pa., April 21, 2023 — French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of two new board members, Kara Dougherty and Tyler Wren, who will serve as welcomed additions to a dedicated and robust board.
“Kara and Tyler have been passionate about conserving natural resources and open space for many years,” said Jen Trachtman, Board President. “I look forward to adding their experience, strengths and foresight to those of an already dedicated Board of Directors.”
Kara Dougherty is Vice President and Associate General Counsel at FIS in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. In her role, Kara provides legal advice to various business units, including Wealth and Retirement, Credit and Lending, and Corporate Liquidity. Kara previously served as Counsel and then Senior Counsel for FIS’s predecessor, SunGard, and was an Associate with Blank Rome LLP. Kara also serves on French & Pickering’s Auction Committee.
Tyler Wren is an Attorney for Berger Montague PC in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has 50 years of broad experience in environmental, land use, zoning, and historical preservation law. Tyler currently serves as Vice Chair for the East Nantmeal Township Board of Supervisors, Chair for East Nantmeal Township Ordinance Review Committee, Vice President of the East Nantmeal Land Trust, President of the East Nantmeal Historical Society, and Solicitor for Oxford Borough Civil Service Commission.

Tyler has been very supportive over the years, and we look forward to putting his well-known commitment to conservation to work as we expand the depth and breadth of our work throughout northern Chester County,” said Bill Gladden, Executive Director.
