Bentley Nature Preserve as we explore the hidden world of moths. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDue to their nocturnal nature\, moths are often overlooked in the bug world. Surprisingly\, moth populations largely outnumber their daytime cousins\, the butterfly by 10 to 1. And there are nearly 11\,000 species of moths in the United States alone! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLed by French & Pickering Staff Jim Moffett and Amy Langman\, attendees will learn how to attract and identify a variety of these fascinating winged-insects of the night.
