Every first and third Tuesday of the month\, join a naturalist for a trail walk. No registration is required and hikers of all ages are welcome to join. DESCRIPTION:Come and learn about our native woody flora! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin Michael Rolli\, at the Thomas P. Bentley Nature Preserve for a winter walk as he teaches you how to identify a variety of trees and shrubs. Winter offers us the best opportunity to learn about our important native woody plants. Michael will discuss identification\, uses\, and lore of the native trees and shrubs- from the giant white oaks and hickories\, to the lesser-known shrubs and recently planted saplings. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMichael Rolli is an arborist\, gardener\, and naturalist who loves to offer enthusiastic insights from the worlds of public and private horticulture\, ecological restoration\, and clinical herbalism. Michael and his wife steward a burgeoning homestead in East Nantmeal\, just a short distance from the Templin Woods Preserve and Thomas P. Bentley Nature Preserve.
