Join Dawn White from Indian Run Environmental Education Center (https://indianruneec.org/) to learn more about our local reptiles!
Native turtles and snakes will visit the Thomas P. Bentley Nature Preserve during an informative presentation to discuss these interesting animals, their habitats and features for survival. Guests will be able interact with the animals, examine shells and sheds, learn about the threats to these scaly critters, and how we can help protect them as important members of our ecosystems.
Indian Run is based in Glenmoore and offers traveling educational programs with live birds of prey and reptiles in order to promote stewardship of Pennsylvania’s wildlife and ecosystems. IREEC programs or exhibits are great for community events, school and Scout programs, business functions, birthday parties, and other groups.
This will be a lecture-style presentation with live animals. Please bring your own chair.
Ages 5+. Free admission. Limited to 40 attendees. Early registration is recommended.
