One of our most popular events of the year! Colleen Cranney will lead a hike on our new trails at the Thomas P. Bentley Nature Preserve. Meet in the Upper Meadow at 3:00 PM. Post-hike, attendees will gather to make ornaments from pinecones coated in peanut butter and seeds, which will be hung on the trees to provide food for birds throughout the winter. Refreshments will be served during the official tree lighting at sunset (approximately 4:10 pm). All ages. To register, email programs@frenchandpickering.org.
Know Before You Go: Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather and bring chairs if you would like to sit around the campfire.
